Super Bowl Sunday, January 28, 2001
The Crusaders will be open for Super Bowl Sunday, January 28, 2001. Come down for our pre game party which will feature a customary touch football game, scheduled kick off approx. 02:00pm, all welcome to participate or simply watch from the deck. The club house will be open from 01:30/02:00pm, as usual the bar will be open and food (chilli, etc) will be on sale.
The big game between the New York Giants and Baltimore Ravens will kick off +/-06:00pm and the Cru will be showing the multi million dollar commercials as a result of our satellite feed. Join us for our first 2001 social event which is sure to be a great day, see you there.

Crusaders 17th Annual Rugby Man's Dinner - Friday, March 23rd, 2001
Guest speaker is former Toronto Argonauts lineman, entrepreneur, and local rep for the Alliance party Dan Ferrone. Cost is $25 and includes dinner, door prizes and witness to the illustrious black box annual award. Cocktails @ 6:30, dinner @ 7:30. Player’s dues are the single largest source of
revenue the Crusaders draw on. For that reason, it’s crucial we get as
many fully paid up member as possible every season. Club Registration
day is the day when ALL Crusaders - minis, juniors, women and senior men
- are encouraged to come to the club, sign up, fill out the necessary
paperwork, get mug-shots taken and your hand over dues!!!
70's Retro Disco Party, Saturday, May 12, 2001
The Crusaders Annual 2001 Retro Disco Party will held at the Cru club house and starts at 09:00pm, prizes are awarded for the best male & female outfit, drink specials from 09:00 to 10:00pm, 2 for 1 mixed drinks and draft beer. Be sure to come out and get a groove on.
Annual Barbeque & Fireworks Social, Sunday, May 20, 2001
The Crusaders Rugby Football Club Social Committee is proud to present the second annual barbeque and fireworks display on Sunday, May 20, 2001, beginning at 4pm and culminating in a grand display of arial pyrotechnics after dark. A cost of $20 per family covers food, pop/juice, fireworks & sparklers for the kids. This event is open to everyone so bring out your family and friends and enjoy a fantastic atmosphere.

Hawaiian shirts required to attend the Crusaders annual Beach party. 3 men and a drum machine (3MDM) will be hosting the festivities. $5 cover and drink specials will be served.
Men's Rookie Night, Saturday, July 7th, 2001
All of you new to the Crusaders (that means you're a rookie) DON'T EVEN THINK OF MISSING THIS!!! The rest of you keen on a good show, make sure you're there. We will be kicking off at 07:00 pm from the CRU Club House and finish end up there at the end of the night (pan on a cab!!)
